I am a Telecommunication Engineering M.Sc. student from Politecnico di Milano. My background spans signal processing, Embedded software development, data science and analytics and software engineering. I have hands-on experience building high-availability architectures, working with embedded hardware, and developing cross-platform applications.

Semantic Communication Simulation with Sionna

My Master's Thesis project focused on simulating semantic communication via Feature Identification with Sionna. I designed a modular multi-process architecture using gRPC for interprocess communication and utilized Nvidia's Sionna library for physical-layer wireless simulation.

Design and Performance Evaluation of a UAV Radar Imaging System

Modeled a UAV radar system to analyze target detection at varying ground ranges. I performed theoretical derivations for antenna gain and power requirements and used MATLAB to simulate the transmission and reception of Linear Frequency Modulation chirp signals. By implementing matched filtering for range compression, achieved significant signal processing gain, effectively isolating target energy from thermal noise.

Design and Performance Evaluation of a UAV Radar Imaging System

This project focused on developing a Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging system for UAV platforms. The project involved processing recorded radar echoes using range compression and implementation of the Time Domain Back-Projection (TDBP) algorithm to generate high-resolution environmental images. It also involved noise filtering and performance evaluation.

Trenord App with GeoFencing Features

Developed a mobile application implementing geo-fencing to provide location-based notifications, targeted advertisements, and accurate ETA predictions for users.

Bluetooth-LE 6.0 Distance Estimation

Evaluated BLE 6.0 distance estimation techniques (RSSI, PBR, RTT) against UWB (DS-TWR) technologies. This project utilized TinyML on data collected from a Nordic nRF54L15 Dev Kit for edge AI applications.

Modular Hospital Ward Planner

Developed a modular hospital ward planner utilizing the Vulkan framework. The project involved implementing vertex and fragment shaders, allowing for asset placement and rotation across multiple camera views.
